I have some pests causing some havoc around my place, and it seems like a good opportunity to pick up an air rifle. I would like something fairly powerful and accurate so I can have some fun target shooting with it as well. Anybody have any good recommendations under $200 for a rifle / scope combo?

I’m sure there are other nice pellet rifles, but my Sheridan Blue Streak is at least 20 years old and has always been super accurate. It has taken a licking and kept on ticking.

Forgot – mine has no scope just open sights, still very deadly.

I’m happy with my Gamo whisper .177 air rifle. Came with a scope, took it off. At the kill range for this gun, no scope is needed. If you are shooting out far enough to need a scope, the pellet is not hitting hard enough to make a clean kill IMO. Consistently takes out squirrels with one shot.
