Bear Bait

I am looking for some bear bait for WI. My daughter drew for zone D in WI so we will be giving this a try . Anyone have any bait at a good deal or know of someone? WI does not allow any meat or fish so that will not work. Looking for cookies, sweets, or anything like that. Heck I have never done this so anything you could suggest would be great . Trying too get this done cheap.

You can try the local bakery. Also molasses the real stuff is been great for us. Any breads etc grease is he ticket. Also need to bait close to an water source.

Best Maid Cookie Factory in River Falls. I got bait from them a few years ago for $3 for a 20 pound box. Good luck!!

Here is where we usually go. Call and reserve to get it early. Lots of people go there and there prices are pretty good.

check bakeries and local gas stations. lots of donuts get thrown away unless you ask for them. we have gotten in good with a few places that save them for us. one bakery gave us a pallet of donut filling cause it was out of date.

Dumpster dive for bread at your local subway. Also check any bar that fry’s food. You can get there greese for free.
