If you are using this line you better be using a 2 way swivel. Suffix is trying to find ways to educate their consumers. If not your line will start to shred!

Is this problem specific to leadcore or does 832 braid have the issue to.

They should start by placing info in the package. Just picked up a couple of 100 yarders and the info in the package is attaching your mono using the knots that leadcore people have used for years. Nothing about using a swivel. Thank goodness for IDO and the people that post about solving issues, hopefully I won’t have the problem.

You may want to read thru this review I recently posted concerning this issue.

Here is a link to the original review when this problem was revealed.

I have no doubt that Rapala will be updating whats printed on the package. What your probably seeing on the packages showing the same knots as generally used by lead core fishermen in the past is product that had already been shipped before this problem was known.

I had to have them send me new line in the mail. Mine was destroyed because of not using a 2 way swivel. They said they have a team right now working on finding a way to get the word out there and that was one thing they talked about.

It seems to me like they should have known about this before it hit the shelves. Sounds like the customer service has been pretty good though with replacing damaged line
