There’s a very large fishing pier in Venice, and fishing off the beaches is always a good bet. If you will have a car there, just north is Siesta Key and fishing off the beaches there is great. Especially the south end away from all the crowds and swimmers.

Nooker, great stuff in that area, though I don’t know what might be the best bite at that time…

I’ll ask my cousin Dave. He lives there. You looking for a guide trip or DIY?

dave that is my home you will want to go to the jettys the north side has a bait shop right there the south side does not.the best bet is live shrimp hook and a split shot, and it wouldnt hurt to stop in the bait shop and see if they give you any hot tips otherwise both sides of the jettys are great places to start,on the south side walking down the beach there are some sand bars that are really good right at daybreak and at dusk and you could also walk down the beach on the south side and look for sharks teeth lots of fun!hope this helps have a great vacation.steve

Steve !!! Thank You so much for that info !!!
