Name That Turtle

Donatello.

Michelangelo was my favorite.

I know she wasn’t a turtle, but April O’Neal would work.
Pretty cool to see her again!

My neighbor called me this morning. She found a baby blandings in her yard near where she saw one trying to lay eggs last June.

Mine seem to be staying put for now.

Very cool Biggill. When I lived in Balsam Lake, WI we had one lay eggs in the driveway a couple times.

Neat critters for sure.

The blending turtles lay eggs in our yard every year. Turtle soup is still my favorite and I’ll never get to taste this particular species.

So I had a pic on my phone I found from 2018. Different from the one I started in this thread. Clearly I have 2 that are returning to my yard to drop their eggs.

I just spotted this one in my yard 10 minutes ago.

I would absolutely love to see the one from 2013 that started this thread.

Were it a male turtle(unlikely) I hope his name was “Sheld-on”, cuz “Sheld-off” would really hurt!
