Fishing the brule river?

    My sister is going to be the fishing the brule river in a week for school. A 42 mile floating trip with fishing for school. and to say i am a bit jelous they never had this class 2 years ago. But anyways what kinda lures should i get for her. she will have both my spining rod and my fly fishing rod. I just want her to have better luck and chatch one since i have not got to do that. Any help would be great.

    I got to fish the brule quite a bit when I was at UMD, didn’t do a lot of fly fishing but caught a lot of trout on spinning gear. Panther Martin in a size 1 or 2. Otherwise the Berkeley pink worm and a split shot works great too!

    It’s been a while since I have fished the Brule River for Walleyes but we used to catch some in late May/early June below McNeils landing to the mouth using a night crawler/jig. Might also be another option for you.
