Had the chance to get to Mille Lacs yesterday with my good friend Scott, and Millions of bugs!! with a 2 inch slot we bet we would not catch one slot fish??!! we finally did get ONE. 18.5 fish in the boat, then let it go. we did get a few nice others and many smallies trolling cranks for eyes. Even was able to boat a 20 inch smallie, personal best that went 5 lbs. I think if we would have gone for bugs we would have been over our limit. see pics, slow afternoon but early evening and after dark bite got good.
