Best Casting Reel for under $100

    What would you guys consider the best quality (smoothness and casting distance) low profile casting reel for under $100? I just found a deal that I could not pass up on a medium heavy st. croix avid. Looking for using it to throw cranks or swim jigs for bass.

    I agree with tom. check out the reviews on tacklewarehouse for lews. they hardly have any negative reviews at all. i have a speed spool, have not used it a lot yet but it casts great. only thing i dont like is the drag doesnt get very loose on mine.
