    On a 24v trolling motor, do I have to unhook the wire that connects the 2 batteries before charging? I have been but it gets to be a hassel so I don’t want to if I don’t have to.

    No. Connect your charger to the + and – to one battery and that battery will charge. You will need to do the same with the second battery.

    They can both be charged at the same time with a two bank charger as long as the charger leads are not crossing batteries.
