Make sure you both have passports or at least the passport cards. Going in is easy, coming back without one not so much. There is a number of places you could go. Research on the net. I sent you a pm of a close place.

canyon lake in ontario…… thain the lodge name was sunset something…… great place, great fishing for all species driveable in a day. i think it was about 4 hours past int. falls. its just past the famous eagle lake which would also be a great place as well with tons of lodging options…… andy meyeres lodge is one of them, famous place!

x2 but not the only place.

Chad will take care of you. Went there a few years ago. Was nice to fish out of a small boat and get a ton of walleyes. Chad was really great and helped us find what kind of lake and fishing we were looking for.

One neat thing about Pasha is the other lakes they have boats stashed in. If you’re willing to work a little bit you could have great fishing all to yourself.

If you’re renting a boat then some of the money will be a wash. You can take a 30mpg car then put the gas money into rental.

Not sure where you’re from or more importantly how far you’re willing to drive. There’s a ton of great fishing waters and good drive to locations. Between IDO and a some web research you should do well.

    Jealous and good luck!
