I had 4 of these break on wipers today. The metal pulled out of the tail. I purchased 6 this winter from a bait shop that is out of business now. SOL or will Rapala replace? If so,who is a contact.

I also bought 6 smash shad last week and they will not troll over 2 MPH
wipers have done that same thing to flicker shads if they were big enough, their death roll pulls the metal clips inside the plastic right out. rapalas arent the only victims.

Not sure this will cure your problem of breaking jointed shad raps, but maybe loosen your drag a little?
