Last weekend, we had a yearly fishing outing with a bunch of colleagues on a small lake near Glenwood. We were originally going to fish for large mouth bass but thought we would try walleyes for the morning bite instead.
We had a great day. We dialed into them in 59 degree water pulling a crawler harness behind a botttom bouncer. We ended the two day fishing fun by boating 60 walleyes, most of them released. The biggest was 25 inches but most were in the eater range. It was a great weekend with a great bunch of guys.
Looking forward to getting back on the water.
