so how may of us out here have a pool that is deepr then 2 feet? i need to pull a city pemit. for anything over 200 gallons or over 2 feet deep and takes 7-10 days to get back after giving them everything. oh the joy. from what i understand my new 18 foot round “intex blow up ring” needs to be approved by them for me to put up.

City permits should be avoided at all cost by us homeowners.

    That is the American way.

i jsut did not realize a “above ground pool needed a 40.00 permit. so getting ready to “play” the good guy and pull it.

Ill second that. The state has us plumbers going to the same classes as the plumbing inspectors now. Had to ask since our qualifications match and exceed any plumbing inspector in the state why we need them to over see our work?
