Line Conditioner

    Need to spray down some braid that is getting rough, and I will probably be needing it for fluoro as soon as it starts to get tough on me.

    My two options are line butter and real magic. Which is better?

    I use tangle free II. works great only takes a couple of drops. small bottle lasts a long time.

    Why don’t you reverse it and fish the other end. That’s what I do with my braid rods. Once both ends are getting fuzzy and faded I replace it.

    Good advise. I use line conditioner also. No personal experience with Line Butter so can’t comment but Reel Magic is great. I have been using run of the mill silicone spray and it works the same for me but much cheaper. I hear food grade silicone is the best because the propellent and like are not petroleum based. Try TPC or a food service supply house to locate. Please let me know if u find it and what the cost is.
