Shouldn’t be a problem as long as your container fits the airlines guidelines…and no dry ice.

Some Minnesota guys brought over venison sausage to Thailand. Japan is pretty strict on meat you can carry through there country but what the Japanesse don’t know won’t hurt ’em.

We have carried on frozen meat and fish going to and from vacation locations. And if it’s a direct flight or quick trip, no need for a cooler. Well wrapped frozen meat won’t thaw that quickly.

It is not a problem. It is pretty common. We used
to get a good chuckle out of some the ducks and geese
guys brought back from Canada. Some had one heck of a
lot of pellets in them. They show up as little black
    dots on the x-ray.
Some countries are very strict on bringing in meat. If you
don’t declare it ..you may lose it and get pinched.

My brother typically checks his bag and has had no issue. We fill
an insulted lunch bag or larger and put it in the suit case.
