Fluoro line help

I need to spool up some fluoro for fishing a deep crystal clear pond. Braid with fluoro leader and mono are making the already weary fish even worse. I need to spool up with 100% fluoro. This will be a spinning rod, with 6# line for bass and gills. I need some suggestions for a REALLY LIMP line. Abrasion resistance does not come into play, no rocks or brush at all. Clarity and limpness are #1 and #2. Tried vicious a while back and that was a mess, nothing but memory.

    Can someone help me out?

Seaguar makes a fluoro line that I like.
I also been impressed with Trilene lately.
I also like the blackwater Fishing line. They make some odd lines that might help.
I know its personal preference like Ford, Chey, Dodge.

Stren flourocast. Used it all winter BC I needed a no stretch line open water fishing BC of some of my spots that held fish were over 50yds off shore so needed to get the bait out there and get a good hook set. Casts wonderful compared to vanish. But not very good abrasion resistance, and does have more stretch than other superlines but very limp. Pros cons weigh it for yourself. Only $10 too.

Actually I think its the Red Label. I have tried it on one of my lines. It seems good to me.

If you don’t mind breaking the bank, Seguar Tatsu would be my first choice, followed by Triple Fish, Sunline or InvisX. Berkely 100% fluoro is a great line, but it might be a little too stiff for spinning gear (not sure about 6lb though) . You couldn’t pay me to use Vanish

I used Invizx for really clear water in the past. Worked well but if the water isn’t ultra clear, then I use Yozuri Hybrid which is the strongest non-braid I have ever used. Invizx has more stretch, Yozuri Hybrid less.

Just picked up my first spool of Tatsu. Due to the price I plan to only use it as leader material but am looking forward to trying it out.

FryDog I have used the Yozuri Hybrid also and like it very much after the first couple break in trips which it sucked.

Only thing was after doing some research found out that the Dia. of like 6# is equivalent to most other lines 8#. That is why the extra strength, just a heads is all. Pretty good line when I had it though.

Thanks for the help guys, I went with seaguar red label. We’ll see how it is, I wanted to try invizx but couldnt find any.

Vanish seemed to be a top choice but I tried it ice fishing once and had a bad experience, so I don’t want to try it in open water until I have exhausted my other options.

Seaguar Invisx is great! I do recommend it. Smooth and less memory than the red label.

I tried Vanish twice. Both times were a bad experience. I use P-line or Seaguar.

Still havent tried my new seaguar, maybe tomorrow! I will report back though on my first impressions on the water, and then try and bump it after I have some extended use with it.

So I STILL havent tried it. I will tomorrow though, I promise!

Sure feels nice though, super super thin and smooth. We’ll see how it fishes.
