I wonder when he’ll want his own boat.

I wish they made comfortable life jackets for these little guys and gals.

Tell me about it! Your guy at least looks like he tolerates it. Mine hates it.

Go neoprene for the kid’s life jackets…MUCH more comfortable.

Once they hit 30 lbs you can move them to a neopreme 30-50 jacket that doesn’t have the rear flap and huge shoulder floats. They’re much better. Sams club has nice ones.

Also having them wear them around the house they get use to it and think it’s fun helps a lot.

He is getting better. Last year he would not put up with it for 10 seconds. This year he did much better but whined/cried a couple times while pulling on it. We have him wear it a fair bit around the house so he can get used to it.

Neoprene huh? I will look into that.

We picked up a new neoprene this spring hoping it will be better. The weather has kept us from our cabin so far, so we haven’t got to try it out. Not having that big collar should be a vast improvement in comfort.

I agree on the neoprene stated above. kids are much more comfortable with them and will usually keep them on without a fight.

BTW – Won’t be long until the wheel!

Go to Mills Fleet Farm and get the neoprene life jackets for kids

They are $24-50 each but your kids will wear them and they fit “snug”
