Can’t we all just get along? The bottom line is whatever we fish for, we have “fisherman” after our label.

I thought we were all getting along?

It’s not like I was taking jabs at people from Ioway.

I fish for Bass to have fun fishing and a challenge trying different techniques and pull a 5lbs fish out of the thickest stuff in the lake with 15 lbs of weeds wrapped around the line and fish.

I fish for Walleye’s when I want something tasty to dine on with the FW and need something easy to catch.

I catch Sheephead’s only by mistake or if I want fertilizer for the garden, they grow great tomato’s. Same goes for Carp.

I fish for CAT’s when I want something, Big, Dumb and Stubborn.

I fish for Pike & Muskie’s when I want to get all SLIMY smelling to keep the women away and see if I can donate high priced bass baits to the lake.

I fish for Crappies and Sunny’s when I have the grand-kids over and when it’s not bass season.

I fish for trout if I want to try snagging a precious hand-tied fly in a high tree or on a power line, or if I want a tasty fish meal besides Walleye.

    just my two:cents

Rodney King would be proud if he were alive today

But the important thing is that you don’t see any muskie guys taking swipes at other species

We just try to stay above the fray

Catfishermen can read, read what the waters doing and know pretty much when a good bite will be. About books? I’ve heard of them but never seen one. By what the waters doing here I think we’ll killem tonight, channels in the backwaters. Brian the big flatheads have started biting here in the last few days, got that from another flathead fishermen, all 4 of his were under 30 lbs., hes going tonight so we’ll see what happens and if he gets anything bigger. Good luck to all that fish catfish this weekend, the guys who can’t read.

Big catfish are for the guys who caught smaller fish, and big flatheads and channels have shown them other fish to enjoy.

How are panfish ranked so high? All I can think of it is people still with ice fishing on the brain. I am not knocking panfish, I love them too, but there isn’t exactly a ton of panfish posts here, except the ice fishing forum.

    I blame desparado.
