I thought Sheephead and Walleye were the same fish. It seems like you always catch them together in the same places and on the same baits

Nope. I catch those sheephead the few times each year I fish for walleye – Usually on a gob of crawlers dragged on the bottom. I usually pick up a few of those other Bottom feeders as well carp, suckers and catfish. As far as tasting better I have never ate a carp. But smaller Bass caught out of cold water taste great in tinfoil on the grill.

Unlike walleye. Had a flathead puke up a ten pound walleye last year. Pre tenderized and it still tasted like crap.

Now rrr, if you cut down the taste of channel cats, I’ll be talking to Pete and you’ll be having macaroni and cheese.
