Clinton was impeached for lying.
I also hope that you don’t find it acceptable just because everyone is doing it.
Clinton lied to a grand jury, that’s obviously different than just backing out of a campaign promise, which 100% of politicians do. Its absolutely not ok for these crooks to lie just because everyone is doing it. The sad thing is the way our system works the only people we have to vote for are liars and thieves being controlled by whatever special interest group funds their campaign. I think the next president will probably be a republican, and within a year of his tenure we will be back on here pointing out all the lies he told during his campaign. And the republicans will say that’s ok because Obamas lies were worse, and the democrats will blame Bush. The circle never ends.
As a contruction worker I’ve always supported this stadium but these funding issues are a real joke. The way this is turning out its an embarrassment to everyone who supports it.

Ok, other acceptable monikers would be God’s country, Heaven, and The Football Mecca
was gonna say “uunnhh, thanks for playing; please try again”
but since the again, again, and again is already at the end of that post … guess “three strikes” is the most appropriate metaphor now
Stadiums are NEVER put to a vote for the simple reason that it would never pass.
Stadium deals are better left to the backrooms where the deals are cut to lay it on the backs of the tax payers. I have news for you guys who think the smokers will pay the $350 million state portion. That won’t pay the bill any more then the e gaming machines will. They will raise the gas tax and shift revenue from there to cover additional funds for the stadium. This stadium is so under funded it’s laughable.
BTW, which art of the glass palace is the old metro-dome part of? Looks to me like they bulldoze the whole thing and started over.
As far as Packer stock. That I’m sure is ANOTHER backroom deal by the Packers. They go to the public for the additional revenue and the NFL leaves the Packers in Green Bay rather then move them to Milwaukee and a state wide funded public stadium. But hey, whatever keeps them happy.
Glad we moved back to the Stadium BS and away from the political BS.
…although that was a great history lesson.
(stadium BS … political BS)
how do you even begin to separate the two as concepts

One hires the crooks………..the other is the crooks.

As long as we don’t have to listen to your BS.
Caught some nice fish this weekend…
And for those offended, you don’t have to smoke. I quit when Pawlenty raised the tax, and you can quit now.

You don’t have to fish. How about we gate all public waters and charge a fee to get on? Offended?
So what is plan C? I guarantee you just like what Laffer’s curve proves, they won’t increase revenue with this tax. People will quit and others cut back.
