Your side does it too is not a defense.

Can’t we all just agree this is Bush’s fault or at least William Howard Taft?

I think we should tax fat people who cost us way more. Mandatory yearly physicals and if your BMI > n%, you owe the state money. We’ll use the money to build roads.

Maybe they could sell worthless ownership stock certificates to the fans of the team for $200.00

You guys know I have always supported building this stadium.

I am embarressed that this finacing has become such a fiasco.

Just slap a tax on the Dayton Trust Fund for every time he says something stupid … that palace will be well funded in no time

You can’t. His trust fund is in South Dakota. Where he pays no tax on it, of course.

How about we all call, write, email the State Senators, Representatives and Governor of South Dakota to start Taxing Trust Funds.

Then there’s another joke at Dayton’s expense!

I love some of my ideas

Why should smokers fund the stadium while the rest of the state gets off? How is smoking related to the Vikings?

In all reality, they just take in all our Money, thrown into a big pot and then divvy it up like Robin Hood and his merry men!

The TAX Bills are so complex, you need a CPA & Tax Attorney to figure it all out, the only thing you don’t need to figure out is were all getting up the A#R$S&E@

Total attributed revenue from Tobacco is:
Minnesota’s cigarette tax would jump to $2.83 per pack – shooting 30 cents past what Wisconsin charges and going well beyond what the rest of the neighboring states assess. It would bring in $370 million, but tens of millions of dollars would come through higher excise taxes on snuff and cigars, too.

Gas just jumped again today, at least in Bloomington to $4.399 when this am. they reported that were tied with Honolulu for the highest gas prices in the USA at $4.269!

Now we can celebrate being the highest Taxed and highest priced fuel to Kill the Economy!

    Just my :twocents:

With as bad as the Vikings suck, do you really think anybody would actually buy those stock certificates

Isn’t it funny that it would be worth the exact same amount as packers stock and we haven’t even won a super bowl.

so let’s say they do offer this worthless piece of paper stock. How many queens fans would actually purchase one or a dozen? I think I know the answer….both of them

It’s pretty clear that throghout this entire country, there is only one State out of Fity where the citizens have proven this to be true.

The other 49 are finding this rather humorous

It would be kind of ironic if someone from a different state also fell for the stock scam.

Actually it a great way for the people that like the team to pay for it. (not all the I-could-careless-people) So in other words “taxing those that love the Pack to pay for Lambeau. Kind of like buying a worthless Ponder jersey.

Dayton said many, many times onthe campain trail that funds in the general account (State taxpayer money) would never be used to pay for a stadium. He lied and should be tossed out of office.

If lying were enough to get kicked out of office Clinton, Bush, and all other presidents would have been booted out in pretty short order

    Clinton was impeached for lying.

I also hope that you don’t find it acceptable just because everyone is doing it.

private funds, and people donate money towards it. nothing wrong with that. Better than taxing a whole state!

Why not just put a additional tax on the tickets? Have the people that use it pay for it. Guess that is just not the Dem way.

Bill Clinton, Democrat, was impeached on December 19, 1998, by the House of Representatives on articles charging perjury (specifically, lying to a federal grand jury) by a 228–206 vote, and obstruction of justice by a 221–212 vote. The House rejected other articles: One was a count of perjury in a civil deposition in Paula Jones’ sexual harassment lawsuit against Clinton (by a 205–229 vote). The second article was one that accused Clinton of abuse of power by a 48–285 vote. President Clinton was acquitted by the Senate on February 12, 1999. The Senate vote fell short of the necessary 2/3 needed to remove him from office, voting 45-55 to remove him on obstruction of justice and 50-50 on perjury.

sure we can; I expect money confiscated from a trust fund which was kept in SD will still be worth just as much once it’s back in St Paul
