    Reality Video on IDO!

This might not be the Kardashians…but it’s all I got!

Live Streaming Video On Ido 7 pm Wednesday, June 26th 2013. Watch for the post in the General Forum.

Bob @ His and Her’s Barber Shop in Lakeland, MN will be doing the honors of the buzz and the shave. He always catches the nose hairs and eye browse so don’t miss out on that!

I hoodwinked ace boat control and cameraman Jesse Krook to do the video. His girl Brittney was busy (forever she said).

    An awesome sight.

I think now that it is over the top, Brian, you might as well get a catfish tattoo on your bald head.

Hello, IDO! I am Kaden’s Dad, Logan, and I just wanted to personally thank all of you for your generosity and support of me, my family, Kaden, and my dear friend, Bob, in all that you have donated over the last two years. I will be forever greatful to all of you and hopefully some day I can personally shake your hands.

    Hi Logan! Welcome to IDo!

Hey, yesterday when I arrived home there was a note from a fella that donated $100.00

The highlight of the note said “I have a picture around here somewhere of myself without any hair”. In other words, he was a survivor.

I’ve read through these posts many times and each time the generosity of the Ido group starts to get to me.

Keep on doing what your doing in Kaden’s memory and I’m glad you poked Bob into helping!

Hope you fish once in a while Logan…don’t want you to be a stranger!

PS Steve had I known you were going to have it done today, I would have given your barber instructions to start cutting at the neck.

It’s just a haircut story without pictures.

…but then I don’t know if I’ve ever heard Bob being described as “cute”.

    Bob,

I have two jigs left. I just sent in the donation for all twenty five of them. Figured I would give them to my two Favorite Cousins this Christmas if no one else wants them.

I see Jeff (Trumar) left a gift in memory of his friend that he just lost and Tim Miller Jr (formerly known as Millerman) left a gift in memory of a family member as well.

It seems the words THANK YOU! are just too small.

Have back pack, will travel . Logan and I are doing a 20 mile “warm up” hike on Sunday. We honestly both feel like there should be some pain involved in the quest we’ve chosen to undertake. Kaden lived with pain for months, and he did so with an amazing amount of fortitude and strength. A few measly hours of sore legs is nothing, and we’ll gladly endure through and keep our heads held high. If we ever feel like we’re struggling, Little Buddy will pick us up. WE LOVE YOU KADEN

Logan and I hiked 20.5 miles yesterday down in Forestville State Park. Burned over 4000 calories and climbed a total of 1300 ft. (up and down a bunch of times). Brought some beer with for after, but, we were sooo tired, kind of weird tired, like woozy tired, neither of us could even finish it. That is just sad, truly sad.

Good news is we know now that the 25.5. mile hike in two weeks can be done. Our feet and legs were burning pretty good by the end of the day, but it was just soreness, not like the pain you have from being injured. Next weekend, one last practice hike, but it will be a short one 5-8 miles max.

I certainly hope so, I’d hate to loose the taste for beer. I don’t think I could afford to just drink Jameson on the rocks.

    Stay thirsty my friends.

Hopefully there is not an ambulance in the after pictures

Here’s something I came up with this morning…..

    25.5 Miles
    5,280 Feet in a mile
    134,640 total feet
If you average a distance of 2′ per step, I will take 67,320 steps on Saturday. —- WOW
I bet the will be good Saturday night.
