A fine steward of the St. Croix!

    While doing a little shore fishing in Prescott last Sunday I ran into a mighty fine gent and all around good guy! IDO,Meet Adam Vu. Adam doesn’t claim to be much of a fisherman and doesn’t actually fish much at all when it all boils down to it. While Adam often takes his cousins or nephews fishing his true passion is keeping the riverbank clean….and I mean clean! Not the tiniest speck of litter was left behind after this fella went to town. I commended him on his efforts and had a short conversation. His main goal was to teach the younger generation about taking care of the resource and having pride in conservation. If you ever see him cruising the banks, garbage bag in hand, and putting all waste to waste..Give him a high five! Too bad there aren’t more folks like him out there.

    Hats off to Adam for cleaning up after other slobs and to Jeremy for recognizing and thanking Adam in person. If only people would just police themselves, Adam’s wouldn’t have to clean up after them!
