Oshkosh

I will be in the Oshkosh area in June fishing. Any ideas for decent hotels or campground to stay at? Thanks

I never found many close little hotels. There is a nice little campgrounds right on the water… south of Oshkosh with places to tie off and leave a boat in the water as well if I am correct.

Never camped there, but heard good things, and from the water it looks nice and clean. Just minutes by water from the reefs, and what I consider some of the best spots to fish that time of the year.

Check out Langs resort in Winneconnie 920-582-7501. Its right on the wolf river between poygan little winneconnie and Butte de morts. 30 miles from Oshkosh. Whitebass, and cats should be on fire along with anything else that swims in a river system. Or Wolf river house right across the river/bridge. Good luck

We will be fishing Winnabago.

County Fest will be going on when we are there. Maybe we want to stay 15-30miles outside of Oshkosh.

I’ve stayed at Fish Inn in Omoro which is about 10 miles from Rainbow Park. It was about $50/night. Simple, but clean and I was able to have my boat right outside the door and electrical hook-up
