Do you need Seafoam or Stabill in Non-Oxy gas?

Title says it all. I have always automatically treated my 87 octane 10% ETOH gas with Stabill. Do I need to do so with non-Oxy gas?

Only if you’re not running through the tank within 3 months. I personally only treat the last tank of the year. If money is no object, why not treat every fill up.

Except in the van I use all non-oxy fuel and each can gets a seafoam or stabile boost, including the mixed fuel. I think it helps eliminate the headaches before they start.

Depending on what additives they use, no-ethanol can go bad in as little as 3 weeks or as long as 6 months. Seafoam is a cheap insurance to be sure your carbs stay clean and your gas stays fresh.

Non oxy fuel does not last any longer than ethanol fuel. What it does is reduce the water absorbing and corrosion problems. Is it better than ethanol? YES, will it eliminate fuel storage problems? No it will not. Yamaha recommends fuel stabilizer if you will have the gas you purchased today next week. There are some new products made for ethanol, star-tron included.

Not on the list is Duffy’s Union 76 St Paul Park, MN.
I think the pump is available M-F and does not accept credit cards.
