I’m going to be running my boat for the first time down in LaCrosse this upcoming weekend. I understand there are a lot of no wake zones, wingdams, and other stuff down there. Does anyone know of somewhere I can get a map that marks no wakes and wing dams? I don’t need a contour map. Just one to make sure I don’t break a law or prop.

Any other advice is welcome too. I will be taking off from Veterans Freedom Park, the same place the Elite Series was at.

With the water levels the way they are you can probably go over most wingdams. Just stay in the marked channels and you will be fine.

Basically any place there is developed shoreline it is slow no wake besides the posted areas(they are easy to see) when it’s above 10’….which it is right now…
As far as the wingdams go Kevin is right that most of them you can go right over…..most…
I wouldn’t go too fast anyway though…There’s lot of stuff in the water right now and it’s all moving fast….too easy to get in trouble
Any more questions PM me too
