I have a 200 hp yamaha on a Yarcraft boat. I have 2 different transom savers one is the bracket that attaches to the trailer and goes to the lower unit. The other one is the “My Wedge”. Which one should I use. I don’t care about easy of use. I only care what is better for the boat and motor. Which one should I be using. Please help!!!

I was about to replace my lost “My Wedge” but the Warner Dock folks indicated that they have seen damaged motor mounts. So, I decided to go another way, but who knows for sure. (225 Etec)

When I saw tournament Bass Boats using the My Wedge 5 years ago I got one. I routinely tow my boat 300 miles and have never had a problem.

Thanks for so far all the post. It seems like I am super undecided still. I need to somehow figure this out. I just don’t wanna reck anything.

I can’t wait to see how many pages of expert opinion we will have on the “is the world flat or round” post.

Everyone’s opinion is worth .02…unless there’s a can of Lutafisk or a tub of stink bait involved.

I haven’t used anything for 11 years and haven’t had any problems.
