Polar Kraft?

Moccasin Point at Lake Vermilion has been a Polar Kraft dealer for a few years now. They were saying that they sell more PolarKrafts than any other boat manufacturer nationwide. A family friend just bought a Lund Tyee size one-and it looks real nice. I guess they have a lifetime warranty on the hull and floor for the original owner and 10 year on the 2nd owner (or something like that). I think they are built in Indiana.

Does anyone have any personal experience w/ these?

I see tons of their mod-V jon boats during the winter on the river. Definitely one of the more popular flats from what I see on the water. I haven’t EVER seen a polar kraft that wasn’t a flat though.

They have a full line of V-hull boats as well. But I have only seen a handful of those at Lake Vermilion.

Now that you mention it-I guess I have seen Polar Kraft jon boats around.

I have been looking at them for over a year now, they are a cheaper than a cresliner or a lund. but I think for a first boat or even a cheap boat for someone that doesn’t fish all that much I think would be ok.
