can you use two depth finders and one transducer?

    I have a hummingbird gps matrix on the consol and a hummingbird 586 hd on the bow is there a way of linking these two together ? I have busted two transducer cables On the powerdrive I run? is there away to fix my problem these cables arent CHEEP!! please help

    Not sure if the rear transducer is compatible with the front unit. If so, you might be able to find an A/B switch where you could run either one separately off of the rear ducer. You would also need connecting cables for the units to the A/B switch. I would contact hummingbird tech support to see what they say.

    I don’t think you can run both at once, but you can absolutely hook more than one to a transducer if they are compatible with that transducer.

    I’ve spliced transducer cables a number of times. Haven’t really noticed any signal loss.
