Last fall when I took the trolling motor off of my boat, when I unscrewed my US@ cable the tiny o-ring came out in pieces. Called Minnkota and they said they don’t sell replacement o-rings and that I would have to buy a new cable. I came up with a solution. I had gotten some real small rubber bands from a dentist that does braces. Fits real nice. So if anybody else has had this problem, it is a simple cheap solution. These are about 1/4″ diameter.

    Nice solution!

O-rings are pretty cheap and easy to buy. No real need to buy an entirely new cable.
    Google “Parker O-Rings”.

Automotive parts stores have a US and Metric assortments of o-rings if you ever need something like this. They are cheap.

    Yup,
I have a source too, McMaster-Carr, but there are no standard o-rings that small. It is about 1/32 land thickness.
