Talk about a time when someone who is very “windy” should be at the resort.
Nice and Dry in Chaska to Bloomington, MN
Sister said 6″ Snow near Eagan High School.
Mom said 10″+ Snow and NO POWER in Albert Lea, and a tree split, half down in her yard.

Awoke early to another over night snowfall and an accompanying power outage. So I sat in the dark for a while listening to the snowplows doing their thing, which seems to be relocating the snow from the street in front of my house to the sidewalk in front of my house! Hard to believe they can throw the snow that far traveling at the posted 25mph speed limit. In that there is no penalty for snow left on the street, but you can be fined for not shoveling your sidewalk, I am wondering if that is the reason the plows are traveling at speeds approaching mach 1! Are the city fathers capable of such a nefarious revenue raising ploy?
Don’t hold me to this but…………
In most cities snow removal laws such as emergency plow parking and such end May 1st. My guess is nobody will bother with the snow on your sidewalk. In any case….a small ticket is cheaper then a heart attack. The crap will be melted by tomorrow afternoon anyway.

Why don’t they steal your generator.
You could tell the way the storm set up SW to NE and was moving NE that someone was going to get nailed.

TXT just came in from Kari. I’m not going to quote it…
but she’s not real happy about 7 inches of snow and no power.
Sooooo; you took the opportunity to ask her if the ramps are open, right ?
You know…I was just told that the powers been out since 4 this morning.
I sure hope my spam doesn’t spoil.
Forgot about the ramps.

my fine neighbors of the north
Checked our plow sites at 4 this morning, and now starting up sprinkler systems. Weird day for sure.
For what its worth, my old man said when he was a kid it snowed on the 4th of July here in Iowa, he’d be 93 now.

Are you serious??
serious as a heart attack in the middle of Jully
I’d really like to see a snowfall in August just once, so I could say I’ve seen it snow every month of the yr
It can only be blamed on global warming correct???
Tuesday and Wednesday where our summer down here, now back into fall pattern. Should have safe ice again By the 4th of July.
I’m sure AL GORE is to blame … this is just Ma Nature’s way of showing him, and all the rest of us too, what a fool he really is
Took a family photo last night in the back yard while we were grilling out.
