No Power in the Lakeland area.

Favorite Wife said not much if any snow in St Paul…My Aren’t We Special?

Coffee’s brewing late this morning AND I HATE THINGS THAT ARE LATE…I told that coffee last night if it couldn’t be on time, don’t bother showing up.

    Merry Christmas All!

See you at the Bungalow for the St Croix Opener GTG tonight!

Never lost power just south of Stillwater – St Croix Bluffs has no power.

    Is winter over yet?

7″ and no power at 4:30 AM at my home in Hastings. When I got past Cottage Grove it looked like maybe 2 inches, maybe an inch at 3M Maplewood.

No power in the country near Red Wing. Took the ruler out…11 inches on the deck and coming down! School is cancelled. Wow! and no coffee…

I had a feeling last night at around 9 when we had no precipt for hours and the ground was drying that we would escape the snow and we did.

Guess a good 8″-9″ here in Amery. Tress down everywhere including one across my driveway
Just what a guy wants to do at 5:30 On May 2nd, be hooking ropes to truck to try and move down trees and getting out chain saw.
Think worst part was watching all the limbs and other trees going down all around me while pulling, cutting, and sweating.
Guessing we’ll see the St. Croix rise like a tidel wave now

Yesterday driving home from Ohio it was 84 degrees when I went though Madison.
51 degrees when I went through Tomah.
32 degrees when I went through Eau Claire.
50 MPH single lane on the freeway near Woodville.
Wet road when I went through Woodbury.
Dry pavement once I hit the 494 / 694 loop.
Green grass with zero snow in Princeton this morning.

I was home at 10:30 last night.

There was a defined snow line with this last storm. We had 3-4″ of snow just North of downtown Farmington. There were 8-10″ totals just 5 miles south of town. And about 12 miles north in Eagan there is green grass.

I just heard the Rochester airport is closed. Is it still snowing there?

    Still snowing in River Falls.

‘CCO was talking 22″ in that area by the time it’s done snowing.

It was still snowing in Farmington when I left earlier this morning. I also heard that Red Wing had 9″ and it was still snowing hard with several more inches expected. I’m sure Steve is a busy man this morning.

TXT just came in from Kari. I’m not going to quote it…

but she’s not real happy about 7 inches of snow and no power.

Awoke early to another over night snowfall and an accompanying power outage. So I sat in the dark for a while listening to the snowplows doing their thing, which seems to be relocating the snow from the street in front of my house to the sidewalk in front of my house! Hard to believe they can throw the snow that far traveling at the posted 25mph speed limit. In that there is no penalty for snow left on the street, but you can be fined for not shoveling your sidewalk, I am wondering if that is the reason the plows are traveling at speeds approaching mach 1! Are the city fathers capable of such a nefarious revenue raising ploy?

Snowing like crazy still. Trees going down, power lines hanging low, transformers blowing. Fun times.

Unprecedented…so many trees down here. Sitting in the house watching 125 year old pines getting shredded. Little branches bending like a reed, but main branches tearing away from trunk. Carnage in the woods.
