The national news is all abuzz with what to do about Syria.
Heres a idea or two.
1) Butt out. Our time of being the police dog to the world should end.
2) If chemicals were used, cut off all foreign and military aid.

We need to put them in the same category as Iran and North Korea

As a veteran, i say let them handle their own problems, BUT if they ever bring their problems our way, WE TAKE THEM DOWN GOD BLESS AMERICA 
I think it’s time to start showing our strength again. Bomb the urine out of them and anyone else that screws around….
There are a few problems with the entire situation.
First… the rebels are being backed by Al Queda. Therefore, we cannot arm the rebels.
Next… The pres set a “Red Line” with the use of chemical weapons. There is now proof that chemical weapons were used. Now, NOT doing anything would set a dangerous precedent. North Korea has a red line as does Iran… so if we don’t follow through with our threat of intervention, those other countries will see us as weak.
My personal opinion is.. set a no-fly zone and get some intel on where those weapons are and take them out. No feet on the ground other than intel gathering. And no providing support for the rebels.
We need to lay down the law and attack those Syrians like they attacked us. (Uh, have they?) I am for defending our interests as long as it’s not pre-emptive. Some might say we should have struck Japan before they got us in WW2. Well, with today’s ability to detect an immenent attack, then yes. We should not stick our noses where they don’t belong. Syria is a sovern nation, I don’t care who pays the price over there. Let them settle it on their own just like we settled our Revolutionary war (paid merssenarys not withstanding), and our Cival war. As far as Iran and N.K., just let them even think about doing anything, we’ll blow them off the face of the earth.
