Are the lakes around Minneapolis open yet ?

    This seems like a funny year, seems like we got most of our winter snow and ice late and it still wants to hang around.
    Some cooler weather is being forcast later in the week.

    French mazaska hunts and cedar would’ve been unfishable yesterday this is south of the cities lakes

    White Bear and Bald Eagle are still ice . A lot more open water today and now raining… :

    Harriet and Calhoun went out at 2PM

    Saw the last of the ice blowing against the north shore, during my run.

    Good feeling to see it go.

    Nokomis is open, and the AIS inspector was sitting out there this morning at 8:30
