I’m in the market for a different rig, my 2000 Expedition has seen it’s better days. Overall, I’ve been very happy with that truck and am considering a newer version (2004). Here’s my question…what year did Ford figure out a solution to the spark plugs/aluminum head issue with the Triton V8? Or did they?
I had one plug get spit out of my truck 4 years ago at about 100K and it has me spooked about getting the same engine with potentially the same problem.
Please no Ford vs Chevy/Dodge/etc. arguments, I understand all of that – I’m just looking for an answer to my question.
