Its an insecticide so you can put it down now. We’re supposed to be seeing another round of rain so try to get it applied before that gets here.

I had one of those suckers take up house keeping late last fall in our front yard. This spring has been fun for him until Weds. I just got home from the er and went to check mail and get the paper and what do I see but the dink working a new tunnel. He reach maximum growth, maximum age that afternoon. Big sucker. Now deceased.

I haven’t had any luck getting rid of the moles with the grub killer. We have tons of moles around here and they tear my yard up every year no matter what I do. I kill the ones I can and swear at the ones I can’t.

Bayer works , Scotts I doubt does anything except pollute. IMHO.

I haven’t found a easy way yet with chemicals, gum, poison, etc. I’ve only been able catch them in the act of digging and diggem up quick or spear them or with a Victor trap, black claw/scissors type. Careful setting you don’t let go and get any fingers in there. Needless to say its also the one that emptys on the store shelves first.

Ok–am not talking about getting rid of moles per say–I trap them–talking about getting rid of the grubs–get rid of the food sorce you get rid of the moles–asking about too early in season to apply grub control on yard? but I think I might apply and see–thanks

Since grub control doesn’t often include any fertilizer, have at it. You’ll likely have to do it a couple times: now and maybe in August. When you apply it if rain isn’t on tap for a couple days I’d hose it in so it gets to work without sitting on the soil for a week first.

I didn’t have any luck in my yard with the grub killer but you might have better luck than I.
That’s the trap I was talking about that KWP put up. That one works.

ok thanks guys—I hope I dont have to apply too often–doing parents 2 1/2 arces gets a lil spendy at $18 a bag–plus says on bag only one time applying will control for whole season? its not the 24 hour grub control-guess I will find out!!
