Does anyone know how the Wild can come out and not be ready to play in a almost must win game? One of the worst teams in the league and down by 3 after one period.

Goaltending will always be the key.

I just got a voicemail from Chuck Fletcher. Sounds like they need a goalie for tomorrow night in Colorado.

They are still missing a lot of pieces. Parise and Suter were nice, but we have to many weak spots still. Stoner is horrible, Koivu disappeared and Kanopka doesn’t deserve to wear a Minnesota Wild sweater. Zucker should be playing with Parise and Pominville. Koivu, coyle and Setoguchi sounds good, Cullen Rupp and Bouchard sound about right. Clutterbuck and Kanopka shouldn’t see the ice. Sorry, I know the Wild fans like Clutterback, I can’t see why when all he does is hit players 2 seconds after they make a perfect pass to get out of there own zone and he scores an occasional goal that any 1 or 2 million dollar player can/will score. What the heck happen to Brodziak this year, looks like he lost interest in playing for the Wild.

I say Clutterbuck, Brodziak, Bouchard along with Stoner should all be gone for next season. They just are not very good once you get past the first line and the top Def pairing or Suter and Brodin. Stop the top line and you beat the Wild. Nothing more than penalty killers and checkers once you get away from the top line. Nowhere near physical enough on Def in front of the net, there are always guys standing around in front of the goalies.

Agree with your players that shouldn’t be with the Wild next season. It’s hard to watch Brodin play when he doesn’t hit anybody. He’s a good defensive defenseman.
