    Iowa got hammered by EHD this year…

    I saw pics of some monster Iowa bucks that died of EDH. Very sad deal.

    IMO a better chance of it having been gut shot by a slug or arrow and lost than EHD… Just my opinion of course.

    Please enlighten us as to why you think that. This looks like every other EDH deer I’ve seen and being found so close to water makes it almost a sure bet.

    Also, in se Wisconsin we get alot of deer hit by cars. Some are able to still get away but eventually die.
