Brown has a hearing at 1pm. I am sure Shanny will tell him to stop doing these things because his phone bill is getting high.

Do the Wild have a bruiser? Seems I’ve been reading about getting our kicked a lot lately. Sounds like we need to send someone to the hospital.

With no Twins game on, I actually watched last night. Man was that a lucky save in the last 15 seconds. You could just see them lining that one up. They got the break they needed there.

Question from a non-hockey guy, was it intentional from the 2nd period on that the Wild never attempted to control the puck in the neutral zone into the offensive end? I’ve never seen so many turnovers and absolute abandonment of any attempt to stick handle into their offensive end!

I’ll sit back and listen, was frustrating to watch!

People complained early on that they dumped and chased too much. The coach and players said that there was no mandate to dump and chase, if the opportunity to carry into the zone was there, you take it. When they were playing at the top of their game an confident, they carried into the zone far more than dumped it. Once they lost their mojo, they started dumping more.

Here’s the deal, if you turn it over at the blueline, they can catch you flat footed and turn it into a transitional scoring opportunity.

As for bruisers, we got 2, Konopka and Rupp. Rupp has been out the last few games. I think that they restrained Konopka who seemed to be fighting every game at the start of the season.

I think teams also recognized that the Wild being in a tight race for the last spot would be less willing to retaliate with little room for error.

Brown suspended 2 games meaning he will miss tonight’s game against Shanahan’s former team the Red Wings. That’s Brendan Shanahan, Director of Player Safety, the ones who hand out fines and suspensions.

Figured that, I was kind of hoping he was going to play against Detoilet…

Big-time, glad they didn’t do something stupid that could have cost us the game.

Anybody know if we have the tie breaker over Detoilet too?

    We’re in Pug!!!!!!!!

I am pretty sure we do own the tie breaker over the Wings. We have 25 regulation wins to their 21.

E, can’t believe you would opt for the Wild over the Twins.

Twins were on channel 670 on Direct last night.
