We stop allowing our borders to be so free flowing? It seems to me we allow way too many people in, its time to start filtering the riff raff. Just saying with the events of the day and last weekends events. And even back to 9-11. When will we learn? On a dirty bomb? Small nuke? Seems like the movies are coming to life. 
If you think many countries out there hate us now wait until we start closing borders. We would become the scourge of the earth in their eyes a stuck up pompous know it all and will only accept people who are worthy. Don’t get me wrong I would love for them to hardcore filter and to be honest profile the ell out of those suspect countries but it will never happen. Has to do to much with international politics and foreign aid and immigration go hand in hand with that.

Take a step back and take breath. These two where not illegals, they went through the correct channels. Theater bomber in Colorado a citizen. And remember Timothy McVeigh, citizen. We have this wonderful thing called the internet where you can go to your favorite outdoor web sight and and find a great recipe for what you have bagged or look up how to make a bomb. Yes I would like to see more done about immigration into this country but the bad guys will always find a way to get in. Remember they don’t always have to get in physically. I do what I can to make a difference and put my faith in Jesus Christ where I can’t.
In 2012 the older [dead] brother spent almost 7 months back in the USSR or whatever country they call where they came from. He had assylum. He was not, as I understand it, a naturalized citizen. The one on the loose got his citizenship on 9/11/2012

Lock the borders down. In addition anyone convicted of a gross aggravated felony or worse gets booted out. Or maybe we can just buy Cuba and turn it into a felony colony much like they did when they cleaned their prisons out and sent them all over here.
Or………….just cut the foreign aid to countries who can’t or won’t control terrorist?????

With thinking like that I think you should run for office. Not likely to win but you would get my Vote. Most who get my vote do not end up in Office. Way to few of Me/Us and way to many of Them.
What gets my goat is what do you bet we, as tax payers, have been helping them live here. Probably paid for all the education too. We need to stop this crap.
2 guys out of how many legal immigrants in this country, did this and we need to close the borders to anymore ? 
Sad but really, this has been happening forever, just now with Twitter, FACEBOOK and many other “outlets” spreading news in milliseconds, everybody hears about everything and then we as a society, get so wrapped up in the media frenzy, the next nut or set of nuts, need to ramp up their terror, to get an even BIGGER reaction 
I turned the channel and came on here to escape it…..nope 
Fact is these two are not any different then the nut who blew up Oklahoma City, the guys who shot up Columbine, the kid who shot up Sandy Hook. Only difference is they have strange names and some connection to radical factions. G is correct that the social media both feeds the frenzy and makes these things instant. Then to keep up, the main stream media devotes more time and resources to the event.
Violence has been around since the beginning of man. If I remember my Bible right Cain had a problem with Able. IMO the biggest change has been the decline in the moral fabric. Violence is now everywhere kids look and go. They get it on TV, they get it in video’s,they get it in movies at the theater, they get it in games, they get it in the sporting arena’s (think MMA) they get it in their neighborhoods with the gang bangers. Sit and think about it a minute. Where can a 14 year old kid go, what can they do without being exposed to the violence of the world?
Another thing, remember when you were a kid? You would watch a war movie or cowboy and Indian show? Someone would die or get shot, they would just tip over. Not realistic some would say, but not all the splattering blood and body limbs flying around that today’s kids are exposed to either.
I think cleaning up the life these kids are surrounded with would go a long ways towards cleaning up violence. We, the 30 to 70 year olds are the ones who allowed our leaders to change the morals of this country. Now we are reaping the results. 
You make many good points there Brian. The only one I’d disagree with is the one that Our leaders are the ones who changed the morals of this country. I think that blame belongs to the society and the people in it. These are also the same people who chose the leaders you refered to.
