    Boston police scanner

Is that even legal to listen in on the scanner??
IMO it shouldn’t be, for all we know the suspect might have one and is aware of the officers locations.

He is still in Boston. I don’t think they thought it out much past the bombing. I doubt he has a scanner or is monitoring social media.

I’m just saying, but does anyone else have a feeling one of two things are going to happen.

    1) He is long gone and on the road right now.

    2) He is gearing up for one final show…

Either way I have a strong feeling this is going to end badly.

Going with No.2. I do agree that there is no happy ending when everything settles. All of the lives ever changes due to this tragedy.

How can he have any resources to plan something big? He ran from a shootout and they have his home. I dont want anybody hurt but the last thing we need is for him to live so we all have to rehash this for months and years.

I think in Chechnea (sp?) when you raise your hands above your head it means please shoot me in the forehead? I’m sure I heard that somewhere and its true.

Nothing prompts Islamophobia more than a study of Islam’s own Koran:

“Slay the unbelievers wherever you find them.” Koran 2:191

“Make war on the infidels living in your neighborhood.” Koran 9:123

“When opportunity arises, kill the infidels wherever you catch them.” Koran 9:5

“Any religion other than Islam is not acceptable.” Koran 3:85

“The Jews and the Christians are perverts; fight them.” Koran 9:30

“Maim and crucify the infidels if they criticize Islam” Koran 5:33

“Punish the unbelievers with garments of fire, hooked iron rods, boiling water; melt their skin and bellies.” Koran 22:19

“Do not hanker for peace with the infidels; behead them when you catch them.” Koran 47:4

“The unbelievers are stupid; urge the Muslims to fight them.” Koran 8:65

“Muslims must not take the infidels as friends.” Koran 3:28

“Terrorize and behead those who believe in scriptures other than the Qur’an.” Koran 8:12

“Muslims must muster all weapons to terrorize the infidels.” Koran 8:60

WOW, talk about a religion of peace!!!

And to think we just let them walk amongst us

It is one of the foundational principle of this country that you are free to BELIEVE anything you want.

The ACTIONS you take (based on your beliefs), however, have consequences … and sometimes those consequences are legal consequences

I can remember public hangings (from a state that retained the practice long enough and I’m old enough <– as painful as that is to admit) … and let me tell you, it’s definitely something you don’t soon forget.

I’ll go with #3, he’s been dead for a while now from a self inflicted wound or he bled to death after being wounded in the shootout.

Story About Aunts and Uncles Speaking Out

One thing I take from the article is that apparently Chechnya was/is a hyper corrupt society. So much so that some relatives think they are being set up. I suppose it would be one of the reactions to something this unbelievable if you came from that culture.

The other thing is that these fools remind me of a lot of conspiracy theorist nuts.

I heard on NPR the other day that things are so unstable in Russia that most people have dash cams on thier dashboards to make sure they aren’t being setup or falsely accused incase of a lawsuit. Beings Chechnia is very close, could it be the same there, probably is.

#2 here too except I don’t think he’s gearing up. I believe he’s holed up and when he’s finaly discovered, most likely when he is forced to move due to fatigue, food, or the cold, he’ll go out in a blaze……no glory in this story however!

Dead men dont tell tales…If he is in fact being “framed”, they certainly wouldn’t want him talking after the fact. I see no outcome where he lives either way.

Take him alive, severely injured, but alive. Get the information needed to conclude who all was involved, then let him bleed out on the 50 yard line of a stadium on national news for anyone considering such an act.

OR – Give every injured person the option to inflict equal injuries to him. I’m sure the parents of that child would not hesitate to see that SOB die a slow miserable death.

I am truly shocked at the amount of attention this is being given. A small scale terrorist act has succeeded greater than anyone had ever imagined. I’m not making the decisions in Boston, and I don’t pretend to know better than the experts but I do know that the terrorists have already won based on the reaction. I’ve seen manhunts on television here in the twin cities, but never imagined that a total lockdown would ever happen.

I am truly saddened for the victims that this directly affected and would never want to see this kind of thing happen near home or to any of my friends or family.

Maybe it’s the weather, but this whole deal has me really ticked off. The media feels the need to make sure we are glued to our tvs 24-7, and for what? Do I reall need to know that another house was searched and found to be clear? I know I’m going to tick a lot people off with this, but so be it.

This is exactly way these guys wanted, they succeeded and now they won’t be taken alive. No different than these people that snap and take out as many people as possible. All we are doing is feeding the beast.

We live in a great country where we don’t have to worry about these things. The government can put all kinds of policies in place to reduce our freedom only to see another act find a loophole. The only way to reduce these things is to create a culture that looks after each other. Too many of us are already asking what our government is going to do for us now.

I say, what can we do to help?

It sounds like they may have got the second guy. Evidently a woman called because she seen blood going to a covered boat eigther on her property or close by. She called police, they came and a barrage of shots were fired. I hope its the guy.

Just heard 20 seconds ago that a car left and someone asked if that was him in the car, the officer replyed yes and big applause broke out, I think from what it sounds like they got him, and alive too.

It would be nice, but I think Brian Williams and all of his NBC cronies have his legal strategy all figured out for him already.

Man I wish the government would pick on the media’s first amendment rights for a while.
