    I agree that its sad to see the poor relationship. I do believe that Bill and Kieth from the Wizard both show signs of being bi-polar. They go from extreme highs & lows and lose control of their temper quite easily. No doubt lack of sleep, stress, conditions….editing…all play a role in the perception we have

    All of the captains can be Richards at times (some a lot more than others), but at least they have a personality to go along with it. The captain of the Kiska Sea is a Richard with absolutely no personality at all.

    As for Dane, I give Freddie a lot of props for having restraint and not knocking that smug little smile off his stupid face. I’ve played rugby with and against a lot of Islanders and I can guarantee you that you definitely want them on your side when the dust starts to fly.

    Anyone who has worked a manual labor job knows that you go along to get a long when you’re new. Dane disrespected Keith and the entire crew and that just doesn’t fly when you’re stuck in close quarters with a group of guys for a long period of time.

    I have my doubts that the phrases “regular guy” and “Bering Sea crab boat captain” are ever used in close proximity to each other. My college roomate was from Alaska and his comment was that absolutely nothing in Alaska is normal.

    Dang, just watched the most recent one where freddie jumped over the side to try to hook up the wallrus, That guy is a animal. Didnt even faze him.
