    They bite. Some of the best bites I’ve ever been in on the river have been immediately after the fish have spawned. The trick very often is in finding them. They typically don’t hang around the spawning areas long once they drop eggs.

    Reports are that some post spawn fish are showing up.

    I thought I heard the water temp dropped with the snow melt and the rain… so has the temps re-warmed to spawning temps?

    40 degrees on 4/8, today 36 degrees.

    I’ve tried to tell those dang eyes when they should and shouldn’t spawn, but they don’t listen to me. You have at it for a while.

    ..No the temps are still in the mid to high 30s,but some seem to be getting it done anyway. …rrr

    Thanks BK…but we remember how it is(was) once the action starts, ain’t no stopping till it’s done…. @#$%^&! momentum?
    I just have to think this spawn may drag out for a while….hope so….
