A classmate of mine has her husband and two oldest kids out there. They have called home and are safe/uninjured. Sad day.

Also found 3rd bomb that did not detonate and 3 other suspicious packages in/at the subway. Whom ever is to blame I hope they hang high.

Countless good things happened today. Most will go unnoticed except by those directly affected. Evil always gets the spotlight. It affects the immediate victims, and everyone who is decent. My prayers go out to everyone. For me, I will hold my daughter and grandkids extra long and close as soon as they get home.

Way too early to know if this guy had anything to do with it or not. He is not in custody and is not a suspect, he has not been charged with anything they are just questioning him at this time and he has been cooperative with authorities.

This isn’t about guns. Its about chicken s//t cowards. When they catch them they should give them a quick trial and then napalm them. If there’s anything left, toss it in a trash incinerator.

Um, its already illegal to make a bomb. So you want it legal?

PDL, why would you give the government your gun?
    Oh wait, I get it.

Along with praying for all the victims of the Boston bombing I will be praying for anyone who thinks daily about terroristic actions, shooting, or bombings. I will pray that they see the little bit of goodness in people and family that will help them realize that our society is completely lost. I will pray that they go seek help and not be ashamed that they may have a mental illness. Most of all I will pray for society to finally accept the people who go to receive help and embrace them with open arms. Praying for the injured is easy but praying for our enemies is incredibly difficult. I simply ask you to do the same.

Good post. It’s tremendously difficult to comprehend an attitude of compassion, towards such an incomprehensible action. There is no meaningful justice in a case like this. Only mercy, grace and forgiveness.

While these types of things are hard to understand we can’t jump to conclusions. We don’t know if it’s domestic or foreign terrorism. It could just be another nut. If the investigation determines foreign terrorism then so be it. If it’s domestic it won’t be the first time. (remember Oklahoma City)

What we need to do is pull together as a country and pray for all those affected. Truly a sad deal when you can’t take your family to a holiday event. This could have been at the Holidazzle Parade in Mpls.

Let the police and the FBI do their jobs. On a related note it was impressive to see the medics and police jump in help to control a very bad situation.

Thoughts and prayers to the families and our nation.

We also have to shut the dang TV off. This over sensationalizing crud has to stop. Watching a repetitive loop of information and adding of trivial info, which amounts to nothing useful but to fill airtime and capitalize on the subject, while waiting for new info is not healthy.

As this act by a nut case or by a tree of nut cases is disdainful, discussing as it is, falling into the hype and sensationalism is why they do this crud.
Crypes I’m trying to pick up new news of the day or even yesterday and there is this, like nothing else happened in the world. Banner on one of the news station reads ” Man sees people dying while an interviewee is describing a blown off body part. Morbid.

I’ve got a heart but this is not helping one bit. Its giving those culprits what they want.

May those affected directly by this heal fast and return to a healthy life. Those that have past on rest in piece you are in the blessed hands of your maker.

I agree.. when I see or hear something about it, after hearing the intital report, I tune it off. Like last nights big pitch for the 10 O’Clock on KARE11, see what a Minnesotan in Boston, captured on his Camera phone as things unfolded…. from the 8th story of a building a block away….. WTH cares about seeing that !!!??? Did it make them smarter ??? So tired of the many “angles” the news can come up with for these events

You got to love the conspiracies and fake crap that happens now too as soon as something like this happens.

You got the mysterious person on top of the building as the bomb detonated…as if no one ever watched the race from up there. I am surprised after seeing the picture and its fuzzy distant silhouette that someone didn’t claim it was a Sasquatch and he detonated the bombs from up there.

Then you have people plastering photos on their social media profiles of an 8 year old girl who died running the marathon for New Town. There was another one of a boy. Both pictures obviously were not from the Boston Marathon. How disrespectful to the 8 year old boy who actually lost his life while waiting for his son to finish the race, God rest his sole.

Then you have people again claiming it was some grand conspiracy by the government and we are all dangerously stupid if we believe the lies.

There IS “evil” in this world

So true desperado. If you read the lords prayer at the end it doesn’t say “protect us from evil” it says “deliver us from evil”. Evil in this world has happened since before man even chiseled his first image. It will happen now and in the future. Media via our now ever evolving technology will deliver their thoughts. We have no control over content, but we do have control over the on/off switch.
