Ammo shortage?

I had to rub my eyes today! I was at Gander Mountain to see if they had something Fleet Farm didn’t and thought I’d take a quick cruise thru the ammo and to my surprise, I saw .41 Mag ammo! Now, I haven’t seen .41s at Gander in like….. 10 years…. but in the middle of a hoarding craze, of all the things to show up on the shelves! I see they got the African Safari supply stocked up as well as the 218 Bee, .222, and 22 Hornets! You know, the stuff EVERYONE is looking for!

I saw those .41s too. They are $65 a box! They can keep them!!

Never a better time to have an unpopular caliber!

I found a box of 9mm 115 FMJs at Gander the other day. Felt like I won the lottery.

Either way, no matter what GANDER MOUNTAIN SUCKS!!!

And they are building a new store in Rogers, MN

I miss the old Holiday stores. They had some fishing section!!!!

Looks like the store in Rogers is going to be a Gander Gun Super Store. I wonder if they will even carry fishing gear?

Try $70.00!!! Either way, this ol’ boy just walked on by….. only amazed by the fact that they were even there! I could always use more but not Remington FNs. I get Hornadys at a better rate than that.

If you won the lottery then I’m one of the saps that keeps buying the losing tickets. Added 9mm to the collection last January. Yep, it’s still new in box condition and still looks sweet. One of these days I’ll even find out how it shoots

Starting to hear rumors that the supply chains are starting to at least catch up a little with the hoarding craze. Hope that’s true as I’m sick of this mess!

I have 550 rounds of 9mm left. That amounts to less than 10 trips to the range. I miss the days of deciding I want to shoot and stopping on the way to pick up a couple boxes of ammo.

I was at the range yesterday and everyone is fed up with the hoarders and the shortage they’ve caused.

There are indications that .22 rimfire is becoming more available, but as usual it’s very scattered. You can’t count on anything being available at any one store.

Everyone keeps saying that by summer things should be worked out. I hope so, it’s depressing and even though I have a reasonable supply now, I don’t dare shoot very much in case the supply of ammo and reloading components suddenly goes back to zero again.
