    First time in 30 yrs, my mailbox got wiped out this morning. Not enough left of the post to make a good toothpick. On the bright side, my custom made anti-snow plow swing unit survived. Be careful out there folks jerr

    My better half got 1 mile from home and turned around and came home. She can work from home, she just doesn’t often. I think she just misses me.

    We are getting a little over an inch an hour right now. The NW metro was barely white at 6AM and now we have at least 3 inches. Just a dusting as I so boldly predicted on Facebook last night.

    THis is actually the first year in the 13 we have lived here where we didn’t have to replace the mailbox at least once. I have had to replace our mailbox 3 times in one particular year. Last replacement was this last fall (due to kids and a baseball bat way before snow fell). But strangely enough… with the ton of snow we got.. mine didn’t get hit a single time.
