Late this afternoon and early evening the wife and I will be heading across I-94 to Milwaukee. I know there are several members who live along that stretch of freeway. Can you please keep us updated on the road conditions? My fear is there will be no snowplows out moving the slush.

    Thank you.

I’m not along the interstate, but if you’re coming through earlier enough we can meet at the Bungalow and talk about your travel plans.

Actually, it looks like I’ll be heading over to see Jeremy at Tee Squared around that time.

    Safe travels Brian!

Hey, you’re not taking your scooter are you?

I would advise you to plan on taking the trip another day. We have ice storm warnings for the areas just to the south of Eau Claire all the way to Tomah! As you are ware, I-94 passes directly through this area of warning. Make the right decision and stay off the roads, rather than put yours and your wifes lives at risk…

Took 94 to 694 on my way to work and it seemed the plows were just getting to the highway… None of the roads in Woodbury seemed to be touched. As of right now plan a slow trip.

The brunt of the snow was going to stay north of 94 according to the weather folks. Hudson at 6″, Menomonie was only suppose to get 3, and less for Eau Claire. Headed to EC today, I will post an update from there! Stay safe on your travels!

Hope you’re not going to a Brewers Game! Oh that’s right, they have a roof

Hope your drive goes safe, and stress-Free!

Between Lakeland and the River Falls exit was ummm icy. 40 mph at best. Mostly 30 mph. I was in the East bound lane. The West bound traffic seemed to move a little faster.

It’s going to be a long drive to Milwaukee!

At 6am it had just started snowing in Princeton. I headed off to St. Cloud and drove 55-60 with blowing snow. Spent 5 minutes in town and headed back to Princeton…….drove the whole way behind 2 semi trucks who were behind a mini van. Top speed coming back was 35 mph. Snow was coming down pretty good with a howling wind.

UPDATE, it’s getting worse faster than you can travel.

    Stay Home!

Once you get to Black River Falls you’ll be good to go. The roads are just we down around there.

From Portage south, just wet roads. If you can get that far, you should be good between Madison and Milwaukee.

Thanks John for the southern end report. Thinking about venturing out from here to get home
