I just completed the “pickling” on my blowers and thought I would be done with them for the season – here in Minneapolis. Then, I saw ol’ Sven talking about 9″ + for the Twin Cities this evening.

    Hmmmm.

I guess I am going to be firing the 8HP up in the AM.

    That just isn’t right.

I “summerized” mine on Sunday. I refuse to use it in April. Have 4×4, will find a way to survive.

I take the blame. I summerized and stored my snowblower on Saturday. Sorry, everyone. My bad.

Summerized mine on Saturday, too. This crap is just going to have to melt because I am not shoveling or snowblowing anymore.

I finally have some justification to procrastination, I did NOT put the snow blower away for the season. I am not excited about the snow but at least I am ready. may it all melt slow and fill our lakes and rivers.

My snowblower is also ready to go, but I think I will just let it melt out of spite.

I agree….the snow just isn’t necessary, but this is the first year I got to ice fish three days in April…..and you know this can’t last……..? Besides, I have had enough snow on my birthday (May 2) three times where life was difficult! We played in a softball tournament one year….sunburn on May 1, snowstorm on May 2. Go figure…….

My snowblower was winterized last week, this new snow will die a slow death on my driveway, I’m not touching it..

x2 – With the longer days and more direct sunlight even 9″ won’t last long.

It’s probably going to be too wet and heavy to use a blower anyway. It can melt.

That was my thought too. My 20 year old machine just doesn’t do well with the really wet stuff.

Grouse, I remember one 40 years ago this comming week. We got hammered! Shut down our towns for 3 days to get opened up!

If I really have to, I’ll pull mine out again. I washed it down to get rid of the salt, but that’s easy to re-do.

But only if I have to. I’m trying to see what’s going to happen after the storm as far as how fast will it melt.

I’m about the best there is when it comes to procrastination.
So why did I choose last week to not fallow my own ways. Snow blower sitting behind of a mountain of winter stuff in the shed now. Aint coming out ,No way!
Any ways half that nine inches will melt hitting the ground the other half will melt the next day, at least on the east side of things go. We sittin good with nothing to fret.
