DEAL on on-board charger?

    Is the Cabelas 20 amp on-board charger a deal for – $50 off and Club Visa members get 30% back in points?

    I had a Cabelas 3 bank charger in my last Lund. 6 seasons and no problem with it. Plugged it in every time when stored the boat and just left it do its thing. Never had to replace a battery.

    if it is a deal that comes with your statement it is 30% back in points – but you have to put the whole thing on your card first

    these R good deals for club members if you have use for the item – and you can buy other stuff with the points

    I called Cabelas and they assured me that the 30% in points ($42) would appear on my monthly statement. So, $189.99 – $50 made it $139.99. Times 5.5% tax ($7.70) made it $147.69. But 30% in points leaves a net of $105.69.

    Don’t use any of your existing Club points on this purchase because the computer appears to figure the new points you earn on the balance after subtracting those points. For me, that meant I would only get $30.20 back in points.
