Can one explaine this? Was the video guy getting his own rod?

Sometimes you could see a video unit on the moter. But maybe.

They place cameras all over the boat to get better shots to make a Great show. Just like when they put the camera on the net. Im pretty sure there was a camera man in the boat. James has a film crew, its not the kind of show where they have a few stationary cameras on the boat that dont move.

So you’re on your way to church, but you find a need to call James’ ethics into question before you go? What’s with that??

Camera man is in the boat. That is what makes IN DEPTH OUTDOORS TV unique and one of the best shows. James and the crew use traditional film methods as well POV cameras all over the place. Then edit the show down using all those angles from the various camers.

In some of the shows you catch glimpses of the cameraman’s shorts and left leg on the stern POV camera.

Definitely a camera man in the boat based on the shots. Were they in an MX or WX in this show? Cockpit looked nice and deep.

IDO employs 3 full-time camera guys now so at any time we can have 1 – 3 camera operators in the boat or on the ice shooting at any one time. In the show in question we had one camera guy in the boat which allowed us to run the third rod. I’ll also point out that any time you see a “camera guy rod” being used, which is actually pretty uncommon, the camera guy is actively fishing with us. Meaning he’s participating in the setting of rods and landing of fish. You just won’t see that in the finished show or video for obvious reasons.

Thanks for tuning in. Happy Easter to all!

James, ever get the feeling you have a lot of people that are trying to be your next editor??? What hoodie you changed into, what reel, what GPS cords, and how many rods. A few very qualified individuals are watching the show

Man James you sure know how to make work FUN! You need a net man? Hook baiter? Fish un-hooker? Wardrobe technician? Boat detailer? Heck even someone to tie a shoe that came untied while fighting a fish? I bet even your dock-man gets to catch a fish! Great job on the shows and keep ’em coming!

I’ve got an idea for one or more of next years shows: fish our favorite water and shoot a show with James! Luck of the draw raffle type contest! I could swing a few days off work for that as I’m sure many others could!!

It really bothers me when these guys appoint themselves chief executioner for the spanish inquisition. There are all kind of pretenders out there, and if you read their posts, they can’t spell worth a lick either. I better quit while I’m ahead. Let James do his job and worry about your own business…..

Well, not being as perfect as some here, I noticed even the three rods and two people thing, heck even the wife did.

As you watched though you could see that there was at least three in the boat though, like a lot of other shows I’ve seen.

But had he been fishing illegally I think it would have become other peoples business.

    Spelling? You [censored] about spelling…wtf??

Good show btw and a draw for a day on the water would be nice too..

    Al
